The project
HEXIS gloss black vinyl was used for a full chrome delete on this MINI John Cooper Works F56. The grille surround, beltline and headlight and taillight surrounds were wrapped; the source also credits SCP Automotive as the door-handle supplier.

The benefits
The wrap changes the bright surrounds into black details, matching the main body colour. With the red roof retained as a contrasting feature, the darker trim gives the rest of the exterior a more unified appearance.
