This MINI Cooper S F56 received a beltline dechrome at Onyx using components supplied by SCP Automotive. The bright strip beneath the windows now has a black finish, matching the surrounding pillars and mirror caps. Detail photos show the change around the front door and along the side windows.

The benefits
Changing the beltline trim gives the MINI a continuous dark outline around the cabin. It is a focused exterior update that works with the car’s existing black details while retaining the body colour.
