The project
A replacement gloss black grille surround was fitted to this grey MINI Cooper F56, and the beltline trim was wrapped in gloss black. The changes bring the front grille edge and the trim below the windows into the same dark finish. Close-up photos show the wrap around the side and rear windows.

The benefits
Matching the grille surround and beltline creates a more consistent trim colour across the car. Gloss black also connects those details with the dark roof and window frames, reducing the contrast of the original bright trim.
